The morning conference schedule will include a buffet breakfast, LHA annual meeting, group photo and buffet lunch served at The Hotel Yorktowne.


The Lincoln Highway Association annual meeting for all members who are registered for the conference will be held on Wednesday morning, June 24, 2026. We’ll have our LHA conference group photo after the meeting so don’t forget to where your 2026 LHA conference shirt or favorite Lincoln Highway clothing to strike a pose for the Lincoln Highway Forum magazine.
Following the meeting these presentations about 20th century Lincoln Highway transportation history will be shared.
Brian Butko, author of books on the Lincoln Highway and founder/admin of the LH Facebook group, will share stories from his forthcoming book on the 1928 Boy Scout Safety Trip that followed the LH across America. Four Eagle Scouts (including Bernie Queneau) made daily stops to give safety demonstrations and drum up support for placing the concrete directional posts that September. Brian is also Director of Publications at the Heinz History Center in Pittsburgh.

Rick Sebak of WQED in Pittsburgh will talk about his Lincoln Highway adventures and roadside attraction features. Thirty years after his landmark documentary, A Ride Along the Lincoln Highway, he has lots of film clips and stories to share about his travels along the Lincoln Highway across Pennsylvania.
